Kabir Khan will direct India's 1983 Cricket World Cup victory
Kabir Khan, who is now one of the most-sought after directors, knows the pulse of the audience. The man who directed docu dramas in his early days has grown to be a prolific winner in getting the audience into the theatres- Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan maybe just two cases in point but look at their magnitude: While Ek Tha Tiger became the highest grossing Bollywood film of 2012 and the third highest of all time, Bajrangi Bhaijaan is currently the second highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time in domestic markets and second highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time in international markets.

So while they have had a hit in Queen and Udta Punjab, they have lost money in Bombay Velvet, Shaandaar, Raman Raghav and a few more. For all you know, Kabir who puts Salman Khan starrer Tubelight on floors next week, may just pull off a biggie for them.
